Bienvenue to our very special ‘Travel Issue’ of L’Édition.
You may not know this, but Blue Illusion began its legacy as a French-inspired fashion brand many years ago when my husband and company co-founder Danny and I first had the opportunity to fly overseas and experience the thrill of travel that would change our trajectory forever.
It was that first trip that would lead to my discovery of the endless possibilities in both women’s fashion boutiques and the unforgettable customer service I encountered there.
It’s fair to say that over the past three decades since that first trip, my love of travel has only deepened and today stands as strong as ever. There’s so much to be discovered with each adventure and every time I return home, my heart feels completely full as I impatiently await my next voyage.
When the opportunity to team up with my dear friend and celebrated ‘Getaway’ star Catriona Rowntree presented itself, I was beyond excited. I knew that combining Catriona’s love of travel and expertise in Australian wool would serve to create a truly beautiful capsule of clothing to inspire many well-dressed adventures.
