Letter from The Creative Director
Bonjour!
I’m thrilled to be sharing our St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat collection with you in this week’s L’Èdition. This charming town represents the French Riviera in all of its beauty— and our latest range does it’s best to capture that.
As we welcome the return of Spring, our newest offering celebrates eye-catching emeralds, which look gorgeous with our hero Saint Jean print. Timeless polka dots and elegant inks feature, pared back with crisp cottons and natural French linens for those warmer days ahead.
And for a little travel inspiration I share my favourite places to visit in Cap-Ferrat, an absolute must-visit village if you get the chance!
Avec amour,
The Great Escape
Welcome to Cap-Ferrat, the charming French village that encapsulates the essence of the Côte d’Azur so perfectly. This stunning Kaftan is inspired by the natural hues of the coastline juxtaposed with its colourful buildings. Pair it with our mint 7/8th Button Detail Bengajean for style that will transport you to the South of France.
“To escape and sit quietly on the beach – that’s my idea of paradise.” — Emilia Wickstead
“For years I have been going to the south of France to cool out.” — Suzanne Somers
Better Together
Some styles were born to stand out. Take our Saint Jean print, for example. It’s a beautiful design combines modern shades with stunning femininity. Pair it back with natural hues, like our Timeless Linen Jacket and Harli Cross Strap shoe for a match made in heaven!
An insiders guide to
With founder and creative director Donna Guest
Grand Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat. Ultra luxurious, this hotel captures the timeless glamour of the Côte d’Azur. Over the years its rooms have been graced by the likes of Elizabeth Taylor, Winston Churchill, and Picasso.
Hôtel Brise Marine is an easy-going 1878 Italianate villa, offering simple and sunny rooms with enchanting sea views. After enjoying breakfast on the rose-twined terrace, why not head straight to the beach? It’s only 150m away!
Le Cap is Grand-Hôtel du Cap-Ferrat’s Michelin-starred restaurant and crafts some of the best best food in the entire region. Pair the delicious cuisine with one of the restaurants 600 wine options!
Restaurant Captaine Cook, run by husband and wife team Lionel and Nelly Pelletier, is possibly the peninsula’s most favoured eatery. In summer, I love lunching on the green and leafy terrace— it’s so perfect.
Paloma Beach is perhaps one of the best beaches on the Côte d’Azur. Offering unparalleled views of the Beaulieu-sur-Mer, this gorgeous bathing spot is nestled in a quiet cove with turquoise waters. This place gets busy, so be sure to reserve a lounge in advance!
Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, considered the jewel of the Côte d’Azur, is a Belle Epoch French seaside villa constructed between 1905-1912 by Baroness Béatrice de Rothschild. During my visit here I felt completely transported to another world. Highly recommend!
Colour Me Beautiful
Certain pieces define a season, and as we move out of winter and toward warmer days, it’s the dreamy beauté of our St Jean Printed Dress that perfectly captures the new beginnings of spring. For show-stopping style, pair it with our must-have Harli Cross Strap shoe and Ariana Weave Leather Bag.
