Letter from The Creative Director

Salut!
Our newest collection celebrates the brighter days to come, as spring fast approaches!  Introducing Èze, named after the stunning hilltop village that lines the Côte d’Azur. This collection  takes cue from the sparkling shades of the Mediterranean coastline and celebrates slow living first  and foremost.

This season we explore the joy of living or as the French say ‘joie de vivre’, with a focus on earth friendly French linen, paisley prints and a touch of silk for that luxurious factor.

I hope this issue inspires you to slow down and soak up the sheer joy of life’s simple pleasures,

Avec amour,

ALL ABOUT ÈZE

The bewitching village of Èze sits high above the Mediterranean Sea, and from it one experiences nothing short of breathtaking views of the French coastline.

Its enchanting laneways make it the perfect place for wanderers, lined by leafy vines and red brick paths that sit over ancient ground.

THE TOWN’S ANCIENT ROOTS

The earliest known inhabitants of Èze date back as far as 2000 BC. On its grounds in ancient times once lay a temple dedicated to Isis, the goddess of fertility, healing and rebirth.

In fact, Èze, the town’s name, is said to be derived from the word Isis.

JARDIN BOTANIQUE D’ÈZE

The Jardin Botanique d’Eze also known as the exotic gardens of Èze is a remarkable botanical  garden that seems to be almost suspended between the sky and sea of the stunning Côte d’Azur.

Created after WWII, the garden offers extraordinary views of the shining azure sea, and is an absolute must-see.

The heart of man is very much like the sea, it has its storms, it has its tides and in its depths it has its pearls too — Vincent Van Gogh
