Bonne fête national!

‍I love to fill the winter months with celebrations; it keeps our spirits warm through these icy days. We’ve come full circle to one of my préféré winter fêtes. Bastille Day, or Quatorze juillet, is a wonderful excuse to celebrate all things French with good fun and great vin!

Bastille Day commemorates July 14, 1789—the day that sparked la révolution and gave birth to the France we know and love. Every year, we honour this holiday in our own Blue Illusion way with a collection that unabashedly indulges in quintessentially French styles.

This year, we’ve curated a range of chic essentials that you can easily mix and match throughout the year for a playful touch of French charm. Our Bastille collection is meant to inspire a sense of romance as you sort through your wardrobe to build your outfit for the day. Have fun with it!

We collaborated with Catriona Rowntree to curate an exclusive capsule collection of upscale essentials.

Sleek silhouettes, wool, and European denim feature in our latest collaboration with horse-lover, TV host, and travel extraordinaire Catriona Rowntree. As always, a porte bonheur (lucky charm) is sewn into the lining of the Wool Coatigan. We chose wheat, which Coco Chanel also loved for its symbolism of abundance.
