Salut!‍

‍Bienvenue to our latest collection—Rococo—inspired by the flirtatious and decorative style of the Marie Antoinette era movement. I couldn’t continue celebrating our favori French things without a nod to this iconic time in French fashion.

Elegant, poppy, and pastel, the Rococo style also emulated the beauty of nature, which we’ve embodied through a bouquet of floral prints and embroidery. Peaches and pinks take centre stage, grounded by comfortable, relaxed fits in breathable fabrics. The Rococo collection is designed to embrace the très féminin in us all! We hope these clothes will add moments of delight to your summer styling.

‍Avec Amour,

La Rose du Jardin

Some outfits you wish you could wear tous les jours.

Rococo was famous for its dazzling ornamentation. We brought that into the modern era with the Embroidered Cotton blouse’s sweet 3D embroidered florals that offer eye-catching details in a chic monochromatic style. We adore how the soft Icy Pink pairs with the shirred cuffs and frill collar for jolie style.

The Rococo Movement

Meet France at its Fanciest: Why We Love This Movement

Rococo Style is flamboyant, light-hearted, and rebellious. The aesthetic started in 18th-century France and invokes natural elements while toying with themes of courtship and aristocratic pastimes, all against a pallet of soft colours and elaborate ornamentation. At its essence, rococo is a whole-hearted celebration of beauty and the arts.

Add Rococo-esque Decadence to Your Day

Although adding fifteen bows to your outfit might attract stares, there are other little ways to incorporate Roco-esque fabulousness into your day.

Adorn Yourself

Flirt with ornamentation by adding a brooch to your outfit, an accessory that’s made a hot comeback this year. Pin a brooch to the lapel of your blazer or use it to fasten your shawl for added elegance.

A Taste of Rococo

Pamper yourself like Marie Antoinette with high-end chocolates. We all know the famous line, “Let them eat cake.” As des patisseries are essential to French culture, pastries and chocolates were another form of artful indulgence of the time.

Notre recommandation:  Atelier Chocolat: an Australian-based French artisan chocolate shop.

Immerse Yourself in the Movement

Travel to 18th-century France from the comfort of your home with a movie on the era. Filmed at the Palace of Versailles, Sofia Coppola’s Marie-Antoinette is a poppy look into the period full of stunning outfits and dreamy French décor.

Rococo is your excuse to ignore limits and abandon yourself to fabulousness. Amuse-toi bien!
