AUTUMN WINTER
letter from the creative director
Salut!
Bienvenue à Rue de l'Abreuvoir! Our newest collection takes us to the winding street on a hill in Montmartre; and in particular, to the famous pink restaurant that sits at its top. A home away from home for many artists, including Picasso, La Maison Rose is a destination in itself.
In this range, we delight in romantic shades of peony pink and dusty rose grounded by plum and raspberry highlights with neutral tones. Touches of tweed and velvet nod to the area’s glamorous past, with pieces that are easy-to-wear yet sophisticated. Feminine, elegant and inspired by Paris, this collection is an invitation to indulge and explore no matter where you are in the world!
Bisous,
La Vie en Rose
La Vie en Rose
Paisley—a pattern with a long history of celebrating life.
Originating from ancient Persia where the natural pattern was representative of flourishing life, paisley adds joie de vivre to any look. Our own take on the eye-catching pattern is inspired by the climbing vines and flowers of Rue de l'Abreuvoir, enlivened by pinks and peaches with splashes of bright blue. We paired it with a flattering maxi cut with feminine ruffle details. Add monochrome accessories for a smart and tailored look.

Cool weather is the perfect excuse to have fun with your wardrobe by mixing, matching and layering pieces.
Take the humble scarf, for example. This French essential not only keeps you warm, but has the unique ability to completely transform any outfit. For a bright autumn look, pair neutral tones with darker accents, like our Merino Wool Jumper in Dusty Rose and Peach Stretch Denim Bengajean®, et voila!
Our ode to tweed
Autumn style finds warmth and flair in this forever-chic fabric.
Durable and warming, tweed is l’idéale choice to stay comfortable and stylish at this time of year. Styled together, these pieces make a chic set for a formal occasion. The 3/4 length also makes this coat a great outer layer that can be made casual with your favourite straight leg pants and a sweater.
Stroll through
l'histoire de l'art on Rue de l'Abreuvoir
Famous for its picturesque charm, this small winding rue is a hidden time-capsule of old Paris where you can feel immersed in Parisian art and culture. You can also learn about some of the famous residents while leisurely passing the day in the spots that they frequented.
Dalida à Paris
At the intersection where Rue Girardon ends and Rue de l'Abreuvoir begins, you will find a little square with a statue memorialising the iconic singer, and local resident, Dalida. Place Dalida also has a quaint bench with a breathtaking view of Basilique du Sacré-Cœur.
Born in Cairo to Italian parents, Dalida moved to Paris in her 30’s and started her singing career in Parisian cabarets. Besides being an international success, she was a major part of the Montmartre community, where she made her permanent home. Dalida’s mark was so significant that she even earned the Parisian citizen of honour award! Just a 3 minute walk, on Rue d'Orchampt, you can stop by her home.

Une petite histoire de
La Maison Rose
This instagram-worthy restaurant was first opened around 1905 by art model Germaine Pichot. She was the wife of Spanish painter, Ramon Pichot, as well as an extremely influential figure in the life of Picasso. Apparently, after a trip to her husband’s native Catalonia, she was inspired by the colourful houses and decided to paint her own home in its now iconic shade of pink.
Because of her and her husband’s special relationship with the art community, the restaurant was frequented by painters, writers, and singers alike, from Picasso and Dali, to Albert Camus and Dalida.
La Maison Rose continues to celebrate artistry as an eco-conscious restaurant where you can enjoy seasonal dishes sourced from local artisans. Both the atmosphere and food are très magnifique!

The artist’s residence
One of the oldest buildings in the area, Musée de Montmartre was a home and studio for many artists, including Auguste Renoir, Émile Bernard, Raoul Dufy, Charles Camoin, Suzanne Valadon and Maurice Utrillo. It is now an intimate museum with a unique personal collection and temporary expositions. Visit Suzanne Valadon’s studio and then relax in the gardens inspired by the paintings that Renoir made while he lived there.
